Furcoins Guide

Furcoins are the in-match currency of Fur Infection Outbreak. You earn them by playing the released online 35-player mode, not by waiting for a promo that does not exist. HopeStar Studio has not published a public price sheet, so this page stays honest about what pays, what the shop eats, and which blades sit on Robux gamepasses instead of the Furcoin counter.

If you came here hunting a gift string, the Codes Hub is still empty as of September 2026. How to redeem explains the Discord channels to watch. Neither page replaces infection farming.

What actually pays

Community play and HopeStar’s own combat loop point to the same ranking:

  1. Infection kills as a Transfur. Grab is the money skill. Press 2, stand behind a Human, right-click, and drag them toward a latex puddle. Completing the transfur pays well compared with a clean melee knockout.
  2. A Human who resets right after the infection. Players report that a victim who leaves or resets immediately can still count as a kill, fire the kill effect, and drop about 9 extra Furcoins. Treat that as a community observation, not an official multiplier HopeStar printed in a patch note. Do not harass people into resetting; plenty of Humans already panic-leave on their own.
  3. Killing Transfurs as a Human. Right-click melee, watch the yellow cooldown, and finish the morph before it reaches the Safe Zone. Human kills pay; they just pay less than a clean infection chain when the lobby is full.
  4. Ore and side loops. HopeStar posted mining spots. Copper, gold, and diamond nodes drip Furcoins slowly. Use them when the facility is dead, not when grabs are available.

The Safe Zone still kills Transfurs. Do not drag a Human into spawn and expect Furcoins — you die, they live, and the purse stays thin. Sprint with Ctrl (L3 on console) between puddles so you actually land the grab.

Shop prices without a fake spreadsheet

The Furcoin shop sits in the Safe Zone. It eats coins for weapons, vests, consumables, and kill effects. HopeStar shuffles stock (bats, katanas, Hope Edge, claymores, flashlight, event carrots), so we will not invent exact prices that unofficial sites already fake from other infection games.

Stable rules: buy the row you can see; pick up floor loot (bat, crowbar, pipe) before dumping coins on a shop katana you have not swung; save kill-effect cosmetics for after the title grind. A code will not refill the shop — the Codes Hub is still empty. Compare blades on the weapon tier list before you spend.

Crescendo and OKatana are Robux gamepasses

Crescendo and OKatana do not sit on the Furcoin shelf. They are Robux gamepasses. Community testing puts Crescendo around 34–36 damage with a heavier swing, and OKatana around 30–33 with a shorter cooldown. Live Robux prices belong on the Roblox pass page (Crescendo has sat near 129). Buying one pass does not unlock the other. Neither is required: the game is free and fully playable with floor loot. Rank those gamepass blades on the weapon tier list before you empty a coin stack or open Robux.

Titles gate the long grind

The infection title is the long grind. Community notes put the max near 5,000 infections — not a shop discount and not a code. Each finished grab is one pip; reset-after-grab kills can pad it. Titles do not swing harder. If you want power, buy a shop weapon or a gamepass. If you want the title, take the morph and bank the next infection.

A simple spend order

Leave spawn with a bat (Getting Started), play Transfur in dense lobbies, buy a shop weapon you have already swung, ignore kill effects until the 5,000-infection title is in reach, and only then look at Crescendo or OKatana as Robux gamepasses. Check the Codes Hub after a patch — do not pause a good lobby for a rumor.

Five thousand infections is a title, not a shop coupon. Bank Furcoins for weapons you will actually swing, and leave the Robux blades on the gamepass shelf until you know you like the weight.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Humans, Transfurs, and anyone hunting Furcoins.

What is the fastest way to earn Furcoins?

Play Transfur and finish grabs. Infection kills pay better than Human melee. A victim who resets right after the grab can still count and drop about nine extra coins, per community reports.

Do Crescendo and OKatana cost Furcoins?

No. They are Robux gamepasses. Furcoins buy the in-match shop. Compare those blades on the weapon tier list before you pay Robux.

How many infections do I need for the infection title?

Community grinders put the max around 5,000 infections. HopeStar has not posted a public ladder, so treat 5k as the working target until staff publish one.

Can codes skip the Furcoin grind?

Not today. There are no confirmed gifts. Watch how to redeem and the Codes Hub if that changes.

Does the Safe Zone give Furcoins?

No. The Safe Zone kills Transfurs. You shop there as a Human. You do not farm there as a morph.

Should I buy kill effects first?

No. Effects are cosmetics. Buy a weapon you can already swing, then chase the infection title, then cosmetics.
