Getting Started in Fur Infection Outbreak

Fur Infection Outbreak is a live asymmetrical Roblox game from HopeStar Studio. It released on 30 December 2025 as a free 35-player online server, not a single-player campaign and not a local lobby. You spawn as a Human with a blue name, loot melee in the Safe Zone, then walk into a facility full of latex puddles and purple-named Transfurs (Infectants). If they grab you and finish the conversion, you join them. If you walk back into spawn as purple, you die. That is the whole pitch. This page is the first round. Minute one in the Safe Zone

Stay in spawn until you have a weapon. Punch exists so you can panic, not so you can win. Walk the crates for a baseball bat or a sword. A pan, axe, hammer, or shield is a bonus. Do not window-shop Robux blades yet. Floor loot is enough for the opening exit. Names are color-coded on purpose: blue is Human, purple is Transfur. If a purple name is sitting on the portal lip, they cannot come in. They are waiting for you to walk out.

There are two lobby portals. Take the quieter one if you are alone. Hold Ctrl to run (L3 on a controller). Right-click to swing. Watch the yellow cooldown bar. Those three inputs are the whole Human kit; the full bind sheet including mobile taps is Human controls. Shift is not sprint here. That leftover Roblox habit is how first-round Humans walk into grabs.

Beginner guide — armor, Crucible, and healing

iFrames, then a real path

Leaving the Safe Zone grants a few seconds of iFrames. You cannot be grabbed during that window. You also cannot refresh it by stepping in and out for fun. Spend it on a sprint to a corner, a crate, or a teammate, then fight. Standing in the doorway until the frames drop is how packs time the first grab.

Your opening Human jobs are listed in order on how to play as a Human: loot, exit, peel, route around puddles. Peel means hitting the Transfur who is dragging a teammate, not hitting the victim. One connected bat usually breaks the grab. After that, step both of you off the latex line.

First weapon, then first upgrade

A bat wins hallways. A sword wins rooms with space. Shop pieces — Crucible, energy sword, OKatana, Crescendo, Edge Hope — wait until you can survive two exits. Community damage reports put OKatana around 30–33 and Crescendo around 34–36; both still use the yellow bar. Spawn habits and Easter carrots are on weapon locations. Helmets and vests live more often in the cave than in spawn; chase them after you have a swing, using armor rankings so you are not camping a deleted crate.

Furcoins are the in-game currency. Kills and infections pay. There are no confirmed active promo codes as of September 2026, so do not stall in spawn looking for a redeem box. When you convert

You will convert. A grab from behind, a puddle you did not see, a peel that arrived late. Do not reset the server in spite. Press 2, take a Human’s back, right-click, drag them to latex. Where the building goes

The lobby portals dump you into a facility: cafeteria, service halls, a cave from v1.48 with ore from v1.51, and occasional desert rooms from the summer event. Latex sits in corners. Players report red puddles as damage-over-time and blue puddles as a slow; other colors pick forms. Walk it once with the facility map. Do not confuse this place with Furry Infection Outbreak (place 129890238624289). That other game has C4, Insurgents, and MTF bosses. This one does not.

Easter 2026 added a five-key trade for a Gate Key and a hammer arena. If that door is live, the Easter boss fight is the checklist. If it is not, skip it. Join a public server. Loot a bat. Exit the quiet portal under iFrames. Swing once per yellow bar. Peel the first grab you see. If you convert, press 2 and take a back. That loop is the game.
