Boss Fight Guide

The Easter 2026 boss in Fur Infection Outbreak is a limited HopeStar Studio encounter, not a permanent raid, and not the C4 / Insurgents / MTF loop from a different Roblox place. This game is universe 9464360885, place 120550559221143, live on 35-player online servers since 30 December 2025. During Easter you collected keys, traded five for a Gate Key, opened a boss door, and fought a hammer arena. HopeStar’s walkthrough is the video on this page. This write-up is the checklist: keys, trade, phase 2 reports, and which carrot tool belonged to which team.

If you are still learning the building, walk the facility map first. If you need a weapon that actually chips the boss, see weapon locations. New accounts should clear the beginner walkthrough before farming keys. Limited-time wings after Easter sit on the event calendar.

Five keys, then a Gate Key

Keys were large and purple. They sat on facility floors, crates, and side rooms — not in a separate instance. Community clips showed more than five spawn points (some tours labeled nine), but the requirement was collect five, not all of them. Players reported keys that refused to pick up, keys that appeared only after ten or fifteen minutes in a server, and keys that showed on PC but not on a late-join mobile client. If a key did not highlight, wait or hop a private server; mashing E on a bugged pickup rarely fixed it.

You did not need to buy the shop to make keys spawn. Once you held five, you traded them at the event NPC for a Gate Key. That trade awarded the Gate Key badge for players who completed it (tens of thousands of badges went out). The Gate Key opened the boss door and teleported you to the arena. If the door ignored you, the usual causes were a failed trade, a badge that did not replicate, or the event window already closing — not a hidden sixth key.

Opening the arena

The boss room was a separate space. One-player reports exist (“it can only be played by one person” in some community comments), so do not assume a full 35-player raid. Take a real melee weapon in with you. Punching the boss was a waste of the key farm. Swing is still right-click with a yellow bar; binds are unchanged from Human controls. Humans bring scavenged or shop blades. Infected players who entered with event tools used the carrot scythe, not a Human hammer.

Safe Zone rules do not protect you inside the arena. There is no spawn lip to kite through. iFrames from a facility exit do not carry across the teleport. Treat the room as a fresh fight.

How the fight plays, including community phase 2

HopeStar’s video shows the intended path: enter, fight, claim the hammer reward. Player reports fill in the ugly middle. One clear write-up from someone who beat it on the last day of the event: hit the boss a few times, dodge the telegraphed ability, kill the NPCs she spawned, then enter phase 2. Phase 2 added fire attacks and more NPCs. Hitboxes on the adds were the usual HopeStar melee problem — swing when they overlap you, not when they look close. After the last phase, players touched a light source / hammer pickup that some of them joked looked like a crown. If you never walked into the pickup, you did not get the tool, even if the health bar died.

This phase-2 fire-and-NPC pattern is community-reported, not an official bullet list in a patch note. If a later rerun changes the script, believe the live arena. Do not import mechanics from Furry Infection Outbreak (place 129890238624289). That other game uses C4, Insurgents, and MTF bosses. Those fights do not belong here.

Carrot hammer versus carrot scythe

Team gates the Easter tools. Heavy Carrot / Carrot Hammer is Human. Carrot Scythe is Infected. HopeStar confirmed that split in Easter Part 1 comments. If you somehow held the wrong team’s tool, that was a bug; the support Discord was the report path. The hammer was the boss-clear reward for Humans. The scythe was the infected-side event weapon sold or placed during the same window. When Easter ended, the egg shop closed. Players who bought or unlocked a carrot tool kept it; players who waited lost the window. Community replies in 2026 treat a return as a developer decision, not a promise.

A V2 “epic hammer” gamepass is a different item in a different place. HopeStar said it is not in this Outbreak experience.

After Easter: what still matters

Gate Key and hammer badges stay on accounts that earned them. Key spawns do not. If purple keys are gone, the event is off. Watch patch notes and the event calendar for a rerun.

The fight did not change the core loop on how to play as a Human or how to infect Humans. You still right-click to swing, still wait on the yellow bar, still press 2 to grab if you are purple, and you still die as a Transfur if you walk into the Safe Zone after the teleport back. A carrot hammer is a strong Human swing, not a license to ignore puddles. Learn the five-key trade so you recognize it the next time HopeStar spins the gate.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Humans, Transfurs, and anyone hunting Furcoins.

How many keys do I need for the Gate Key?

Five. Extra spawn points existed, but the trade only asked for five keys. You did not have to buy shop weapons to make keys appear.

Is this the C4 / Insurgents / MTF boss fight?

No. Those bosses belong to a different Roblox game, Furry Infection Outbreak (place 129890238624289). This page is HopeStar Studio's Easter hammer arena only.

What happens in phase 2?

Players who cleared the fight report fire attacks and extra NPCs after the first phase. That pattern is community-reported, not an official patch table. Dodge, kill adds, then touch the hammer pickup.

Is the carrot hammer Human or Infected?

Carrot Hammer / Heavy Carrot is Human. Carrot Scythe is Infected. HopeStar confirmed the split. Holding the other team's tool was a bug.

Can I still farm keys after Easter 2026?

Not unless HopeStar brings the system back. When the event ended, key spawns and the egg shop closed. Badges and unlocked tools stayed on accounts that already earned them.

Where should I watch the official route?

HopeStar Studio's "All key locations and Easter boss fight" video is the canonical tour. Use it for spawn order; use this page for the trade rule, team-gated rewards, and the other-game warning.
