Criteria, in order: damage after cooldown, swing recovery, anti-grab (peel or block), and availability on a random 35-player server. Carrot Scythe is Infected-team and does not belong on a Human DPS chart. Shield work is anti-grab, not damage.

When each one wins
Hallways and spawn doors: bat, shield, OKatana. Open rooms: Crescendo, Crucible, Edge Hope, energy sword. Vest rooms: shield plus any A-tier blade. Event leftovers: carrot Human tools if you still own them — do not run the map looking for eggs that are not spawning.
Shop blades do not replace anti-grab. A Crescendo user who never peels is a glow for Transfurs to bait.
The yellow cooldown is the real boss of every swing. Miss it and Crescendo is just a red glow you died holding. Swing after the bar. Peel before you chase a damage number.
