Fur Infection Outbreak is one facility with extra wings, not a set of disconnected Roblox places. HopeStar Studio’s live 35-player servers share a lobby, two Safe Zone portals, a cafeteria, service halls, a cave added in v1.48, ore nodes from the v1.51 mining pass, and occasional desert rooms from the summer event. Humans (blue names) use the layout to loot and peel. Transfurs (purple names) use it to trap. The Safe Zone remains lethal to Transfurs no matter which wing you came from. This page is the geography. New players should finish the beginner walkthrough first. Weapon crates inside these rooms are listed on weapon locations. Lobby and the two portals
You spawn in a lobby with a portal at each end. Both dump you into the main playing area. They are not the same risk. The busier portal is the one Transfurs watch. Take the quieter door when you are undergeared; take the busy door only when you have a pair ready to peel. iFrames start when you leave the Safe Zone, not when you stand in the lobby looking at the shop. Spend those seconds on a sprint into cover, then fight. Re-entering as a Human is legal. Re-entering as a Transfur is a death.
The Safe Zone is a rectangle with a hard kill rule, not a fuzzy glow. If a purple name is hugging the lip, they are farming exits. Do not gift them a straight line. Strafe out, hold Ctrl (L3 on console), and break sight on the first corner. Bind details are on Human controls.
Facility rooms and cafeteria
The indoor facility is a chain of rooms, crates, and waist-high obstacles. Cafeteria tables create short sightlines that favor bats and rear grabs. Long service halls favor swords and katanas. Corners hide latex. Do not backpedal into a corner you have not checked. A Human who knows two loops — spawn to cafeteria to side room, and spawn to cave mouth — survives longer than a Human who wanders.
Boxes and railings are cover, not forts. Transfurs jump them. If you hold a doorway, hold it with a partner who can peel; a solo door hold is a grab from behind. The Human survival loop is the combat version of this routing.
Cave (v1.48), ore, and mining
Update v1.48 restyled and enlarged the cave. Update v1.51 added a mining system and more cave volume. HopeStar’s own ore tour is the video on this page: bronze or copper, gold, and diamond nodes sit on cave walls and side shafts. The pickaxe loop, helmet caveats, and when to stop digging are on the mining guide. Cave water and the rod are on fishing. Players have asked for silver; treat extra ore types as unconfirmed until a patch note lists them. Mining is a Furcoins side activity, not a win condition. If a pack is hunting, drop the pickaxe. A node is not worth a conversion.
Helmets have historically sat in cave abandoned rooms. Light and heavy vests also rotate through cave buildings. Spawns move. If a helmet is missing, it was probably relocated or temporarily removed — check armor rankings rather than camping an old clip. The cave also holds puddles (pink, black in water, white on stone) and at least one teleport point added in later patches. Use teleports to reset a chase, not to surprise a Safe Zone you cannot enter as purple.
Puddle colors, as players report them
Latex is not decoration. Stepping in it as a Human is how conversions start even without a grab. HopeStar has not published a full color table. Community reports, which are not official docs, say red puddles tick damage over time and blue puddles slow a sprint. Other colors — gray, dark gray, white, yellow, green, pink, black — mainly select the Transfur form you become if you convert, which is why form hunters walk the cave on purpose. Until HopeStar writes numbers, treat every pool as hostile while you are blue, and treat every pool as a finish line while you are purple. The infection combo is drag-to-puddle, not stand-in-puddle.
Desert summer rooms and event keys
The summer update added a desert wing: open sand, event props, and rooms used for staff hide-and-seek. When that wing is loaded, chases get longer and rear grabs get easier. When it is not, ignore dune clips. Easter keys also sat on facility floors — purple, large — and five traded for a Gate Key. Those spawns were event-timed. Current limited maps belong on the event calendar.
Escape lines that actually work
A chase is won on a pre-picked line. Humans want a path that hits a crate, avoids latex, and ends at a doorway a teammate can see. Transfurs want the opposite: cut the portal, herd toward a puddle, stop at the Safe Zone lip. The cave is a trap alone and a reset with a pair. Walk it once as Human, once as Transfur, on a public server.
If a teleport, ore node, or desert door moved, believe the live floor and check patch notes. The constants do not move: two lobby portals, a Safe Zone that kills purple names, latex in the corners, and a cave that pays Furcoins to anyone who mines instead of watching their back.
