Fur Infection Outbreak Playing as a Human

Humans in Fur Infection Outbreak win a round by surviving as a group or by deleting the Transfur pack before it snowballs. HopeStar Studio’s lobby is released, free, and online with up to 35 players. You spawn in the Safe Zone with a punch and a yellow melee cooldown. Infected cannot stand on that tile. You can. Waste it by sprinting out alone and you donate a conversion.

Binds sit on Controls. The longer Human tutorial is How to Play. Vest rooms sit on the armor tier list. The other faction sits on Transfurs.

Win conditions that are real

You do not win by getting a 5,000-infection title. That grind is Infected. Human wins look like this: the last Transfurs overcommit into a doorway and eat peels; the lobby leaves blue names standing because purple names died on the Safe Zone line; you hold a vest room with two people and a shield until the pack starves.

You lose when the last Human is hiding in spawn with no bat, hoping Infected forget the door exists. They will wait for you to greed a vest.

Loot order

1. Baseball bat or shield in or just outside the Safe Zone. Bat is the fast beginner swing. Shield is the peel if you can time it.
2. Leave with a buddy. One person loots, one person watches backs. Yours is blue, Infected is purple.
3. Light Vest if it is on the route. Do not detour through a cave nest for Heavy Vest while you are still on punch.
4. Named melee — Crucible, energy sword, heavy hammer — only after you have a swing and a vest window.
5. Shop blades (OKatana, Crescendo, Edge Hope) if you already own them. They do not replace step 1.

Run with Ctrl or L3. Melee is right-click. Watch the yellow bar. Mashing is how grabs start: you swing, the bar is empty, a Transfur who pressed 2 finishes the drag.

Buddy peels

A grab is not an instant convert if someone hits the Transfur during the drag. Stand one step behind your loot runner. When you see the Infected attach, swing at the Infected, not at the victim’s health bar. Shield users time the block on the grab, not on a random swing.

Two Humans beat one Transfur. One Human loses to one Transfur who waited through the cooldown. If your buddy is already gone, do not revenge-swing into the pack. Reset to a doorway. After you damage a Transfur, community players describe a 15-second Safe Zone block. Use that window to finish the fight in the room.

Vest timing

Put a vest on before the first grab, not after you are already limping. Light Vest is the early pickup. Heavy Vest is the cave hold. If the cave is already purple, skip Heavy Vest. A Light Vest and a bat in a hallway you control is a better Human round than a Heavy Vest corpse in the cave building.

Full-server Human play is three jobs: loot runner, peel who never leads, anchor on a door. Shop katana players who all want to be the loot runner are how Transfurs snowball. Assign yourself peel for one round if you keep dying with Crescendo in hand.

When you convert, switch brains immediately. You now die in spawn. The grab bind is 2 then right-click. Community comments note that a Human who resets right after conversion can still count as a kill for the Infected. Do not gift that.

If your last Human is hiding in a vest with no bat, the round is already over. Win with two people and one peel, not a fashion loadout. Blue names loot together or they turn purple one at a time.
