Fur Infection Outbreak Limited Events
Easter keys, desert week, community cups, and Glitch Storm.
HopeStar Studio runs limited events on top of the live 35-player infection lobby. The base game is released and online. Events are extra: a key hunt, a desert map, a Discord cup, or a Roblox calendar tile. They do not replace the grab, the yellow melee bar, or the Safe Zone rule. Easter 2026 (leftover unless rerun)
The 2026 loop was: find five keys, exchange them for a Gate Key, open the gate, fight the hammer boss. Human rewards included Heavy Carrot / Carrot Hammer. Infected reward included Carrot Scythe. Badges that still exist on the Roblox page: Gate Key, Easter Event 2026, and Welcome back.
Studio and community videos (HopeStar’s key tour, Bom Only’s Part 2 boss recap) are how most players learned the exchange. The event is not a daily key printer in September unless HopeStar turns it back on. Gate Key rarity on the experience page already reads like a closed farm. If you own the carrot tools, they still matter in melee. If you missed the window, you missed it. Ban appeals do not reopen Easter.
Summer desert map and hide-and-seek
Summer weeks retagged the experience and dropped a desert layout plus shark-style morphs and extra summer weapons in community showcases. Treat the desert as a seasonal map, not as the default Overhaul cave. Hide-and-seek clips exist because staff and community ran them on that layout. They are not a permanent mode toggle in spawn.
When the desert is up: loot still starts with a bat, Infected still die in Safe Zone, grabs still start with 2. When the desert is down: use the Overhaul cave and teleport from v1.48. The map guide is the routing page.
Hopestar Events cups
HopeStar posted Hopestar Events #1 and #2 as community cups. The format they advertised: 50 players, 1,000 Robux plus an exclusive in-game title, with #2 framed as a hard obby. Sign-ups go through the community Discord, not through a crate next to the baseball bat. If you are standing in a 35-player public server waiting for 1k Robux to drop, you are in the wrong queue. Titles from a cup are cosmetics. They do not move you up a weapon tier.
Blackout (lights-out reruns)
Blackout is a separate script from Glitch Storm. The title card has read “The lights are flickering.” Gates close, extra convert tiles (radioactive liquid, purple masks) show up, and the Hazz helmet becomes the helmet people actually hunt. Signal Manipulator opens shut doors for a few uses. Full routing, Human vs Transfur jobs, and what is not a mining drop live on the blackout event page. Do not fish or mine in the dark.
Glitch Storm window
The Roblox experience page lists Glitch Storm Event for Monday 7 September 2026, 9:00 PM, with the line “An unprecedented event…” Until that window opens, it is a calendar tile. It is not a confirmed new blade, not a confirmed new morph set, and not a reason to sit idle in spawn on the 6th. When it starts, check the title prefix. Do not confuse Glitch Storm with comment-thread “blackout” stories or with a different game’s raid night.
How to spend an event week
Read the Roblox title. If keys are live, follow the boss fight path. If the desert is live, re-learn rooms on the map. If a Discord cup is live, join that server. If only Glitch Storm is listed, note the time, then play a normal round. After any event, return to patch notes so you do not carry Easter routing into an Overhaul cave.
Keys expire. Cups fill. Glitch Storm is a calendar tile until HopeStar actually starts it. Show up with a bat, not a screenshot of last April. The hammer boss was a week. The grab is every night.
