Fur Infection Outbreak Gamepasses and Paid Weapons

Keep Avatar, shop blades, and what skill still beats Robux.

Gamepasses Guide

Fur Infection Outbreak is free to play. HopeStar Studio still sells convenience: an overlay that keeps your avatar when you convert, and shop blades that skip some of the floor loot ladder. Robux does not move the Safe Zone line. It does not fill the yellow melee bar. It does not let Infected camp spawn. Spend after you can peel a grab with a baseball bat.

Damage bands are community-reported. Bom Only’s v1.48 comment thread puts OKatana around 30–33 and Crescendo around 34–36 with red fire VFX. A community wiki mirror lists Crescendo cooldown around 2.3 and OKatana around 1.35 — treat that as a player sheet, not a studio PDF. Ranks live on the weapon tier list. Spawn routes live on the weapons guide. Coin sinks live on Furcoins.

Keep Avatar

HopeStar’s own wording: Keep Avatar lets you keep your Roblox avatar when you become Infected. It stops the furry skin from being placed on you while putting you on the infection team. You are not a third faction. You grab with 2 plus right-click. You die in the Safe Zone. Humans hesitate because you look like a teammate. That hesitation is the only extra power.

Players who buy it and see “nothing happen” usually forgot to enable the option. That complaint is on the studio Easter video, and the studio answered it. Turn it on. Then play Transfur rules in your own clothes.

Is it worth Robux? Yes if you hate the overlay and you already know how to grab. No if you think it lets you walk into spawn. No if you main Human and never convert.

Shop blades people name

OKatana~30–33 damage, faster cadence in player notesHumans who already time the yellow bar
Crescendo~34–36 damage, red fire VFXPlayers who want the glow and can stand a slower recovery
Edge HopeSimilar damage talk to Crescendo without the fireBuyers who skipped Crescendo
KatanaR / ShieldRNamed in v1.48 comments; spawn questions outnumber statsOnly if you already found them

v1.48 footage shows OKatana and Crescendo locations in the first minute of Bom Only’s recap, then the new cave, teleport, vests, and kill effect shop. Overhaul retagged the lobby later. Walk the rooms; do not trust a May screenshot as a GPS pin forever.

Crescendo is not automatically the buy. Commenters already said Edge Hope feels close. The fire is decoration unless you can land the swing after the bar. OKatana is the practical blade. A timed shield still peels both.

What is actually worth Robux

Spend if you already peel with floor loot and you want Keep Avatar for identity, not for a cheat code. Skip if you are dying on punch, if you think a red glow replaces a buddy peel, or if you still confuse this place with Furry Infection Outbreak and its different shop.

Easter carrot tools (Heavy Carrot / Carrot Hammer for Humans, Carrot Scythe for Infected) were event rewards, not Robux packs. If you missed Easter 2026, do not buy a random shop katana expecting carrot VFX.

Furcoins are the in-round currency. Community comments say Infected conversions farm them faster, that a Human reset-after-infect can still count as a kill, and that the infection title caps around 5,000 infections. Kill effect shop is a cosmetic sink from v1.48, not a grab upgrade. Codes do not replace gamepasses. HopeStar has not shipped a stable redeem box as of September 2026.

A baseball bat in a hallway peels a shop blade user who mashed the cooldown. A shield timed on a grab dumps a Keep Avatar player who believed the overlay was armor. Pay for identity and for a faster loot ladder. Do not pay for the yellow bar.

Robux buys a blade. It does not buy the yellow bar. Spend after you can peel a grab with a bat. The receipt will still be there when the cooldown makes sense.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Humans, Transfurs, and anyone hunting Furcoins.

What does Keep Avatar do in Fur Infection Outbreak?

It keeps your Roblox avatar on the Infected team and skips the furry morph overlay. You still grab and you still die in the Safe Zone. HopeStar answered this on their Easter video comments.

Is Crescendo worth more Robux than OKatana?

Community reports put Crescendo a few damage points higher with red fire, and OKatana faster. Compare both on the weapon tier list.

Do I need a gamepass to play after Overhaul?

No. The game is free. Punch, bat, grab, and vests work without Robux.

Can I get shop weapons with Furcoins instead of Robux?

Furcoins feed titles, kill effects, and in-round sinks. Shop katanas are Robux/gamepass territory. Track coins on Furcoins.

Will a gamepass let Infected enter the Safe Zone?

No. Nothing in the shop rewrites that line. Keep Avatar is clothes plus team assignment, not a spawn pass.

Where do OKatana and Crescendo sit on the map?

v1.48 location footage is the starting point; Overhaul may have moved displays. Walk the rooms with the weapons guide.
